Chad Andrews is a Canadian actor and filmmaker. He grew up in Calgary, Alberta, where he fell in love with acting after accidentally being placed in a middle school drama class. From that moment forward, Andrews spent much of his free time locked in his room writing scripts and rehearsing characters. He then graduated from the University of Calgary with a BFA in Drama, where he studied acting, directing, and scriptwriting.
With a desire to pursue film, Andrews made the leap and moved to Toronto, where he met acting coach, Earl Nanhu, who he has been training with ever since. In the beginning, Andrews worked on many independent and student films, building up his resume. Now, after 9 years in Toronto, Andrews has had the opportunity to appear in multiple television shows with credits such as ‘Ghosts’ (CBS) and ‘Fellow Travelers’ (Showcase), and internationally screened films, ‘Wolves’ (2022) and short film ‘Cruise’ (2022). One of Andrews’s more notable performances is British Royal, Charles, in ‘The Princess and the Bodyguard’ (2022), available on Prime Video. Most recently, you can find Chad acting alongside Academy Award nominee, Colman Domingo, in the Netflix limited series ‘The Madness’. In 2023, Chad began a new venture in the film industry, with writing and directing his first short film, ‘The Butchers’, which is his 2025 film festival submission.
